Please bear in mind that this website might be out of date. Poodles in Need has had a huge number of dogs to manage recently and has little voluntary help. The dogs and their care are our priority, so please be patient with us.

Update! Dec 2009 - Poodles in Need has re-homed 37 dogs so far this year and we have another 10 waiting for their forever homes.

If you are looking for a poodle to give a forever home to, please telephone Hanna as other dogs might be available or about to become so.

Hanna sends her apologies to everyone that we are delayed in getting the latest Newsletter out. It is expected early in the New Year. This is due to the sheer volume of work.
Thank you.

TWO BLACK MALE MINIATURE POODLES

Due to a change in personal circumstances, we have these two delightful boys to re-home. They are uncle and nephew but are both aged 6 years old.  They have both been neutered, micro-chipped and vet-checked and are looking for a home together.

They have lovely temperaments, are not boisterous, excellent in the car and very good on the lead. We do not know what they would be like with cats. They do not fight over food but do get a bit agitated with each other when it comes to playing with toys.

Would make lovely companion dogs.

Beautiful 4-1/2 year old white standard boy. Walks nicely on lead with halti, Lovely temperament.
Neutered and microchipped.

This gorgeous boy should be either an only dog or join a lady standard poodle. No cats, though.

Just wait until his topknot and coat grow back. He will be even more of a beauty.

A white large-toy spayed bitch, only 2 years old

This lovely girl has some fears about certain things. Poodles in Need has started some training to help her along. She will need a firm, kind, understanding experienced poodle handler to continue her training to help her regain her confidence.

She would be best in a home with another poodle of similar or larger size, preferably a neutered male.

Two One toy poodles both lost their elderly owners.

One is a 9-year-old male and the other is an 11-year-old female.

They can go separately, but the female should not go to a home with bigger dogs.

Male is now rehomed. Female still looking.

Update Feb 2010: This girl is very unlucky. She has had extensive veterinary treatment and with time and trouble given a CLEAN bill of health.  However, nobody seems to want her and she is now on permanent foster.
