This 10-year-old standard girl, Sophie, was taken in by Poodles in Need in March of 2009. As you can see, she was in very poor condition, weighing 19 kg.
The good news is that she has found her forever home and is making slow, but excellent, progress.
During one of her early vet visits, she badly needed extensive dental work, but her health was so poor that the procedure would have been too risky for her.
In June of 2009, Sophie was well enough to have her teeth done which meant having 28+ teeth removed.
Her weigh-in in August 2009 came at 26.65 kg.
Sophie is a darling and has captured the hearts of many. We wish to thank the many kind people for their interest and concern over Sophie.
